Electric Guitars
Currently I am basically using 5 guitars:
-Fender Stratocaster Olympic White Customshop 60s Relic
I bought it in 2000, it`s my main insrument, everything is stock, apart
from the frets (6105) and a dummie coil below the middle pickup.The coil
is activated to reduce or eliminate humming.
-Fender Stratocaster 1979 non Tremolo in Vintage White/ Yellow. I bought
it in 1992.It`s been my Nr.1 for quite a long time, now it`s tuned to
Eb.I used it a lot on „Conglomerate#1“.
Pickups are replaced by Relic Customshop p.u.s with the dummie coil,
frets are 6105, bridgeparts have been replaced.
-USA Telecaster Standard Sunburst with Joe Barden p.u.s (bought in 1996)
-Increadible Mexico Telecaster Roadworn-Series, everything stock! (bought
in 2009)
-Gibson Les Paul Goldtop 56 Historic Collector with P-90 p.u.s, amazing
guitar, everything stock.(bought 2006)
Amps:
My first choice for gigs and studiowork is my 18 watts Marshall
handwired.
Simple amp, great tone!
I also use a modified Marshall 100 watt Super Lead Plexi 1959 reissue (with
412 Greenbacks) for crunchy and overdriven sounds.
For real heavy sounds I use the Marshall JVM, e.g. for productions with
gothic act „Umbra et Imago“
I also own a Vox AC 30 TB with Blue Bulldogs and a Fender Tonemaster.
Pedals:
T-Rex pedals have become really important for my live-sound.
On my pedalboard are Compnova, Tremster, Roommate Replica, Reptile and
Viper, for studiowork I also use the Mudhoney.
Jens Plappert built me a very nice TS-808/9 that I use a lot as
well, Thanks!
Over the years I have bought a lot of pedals, my pedalboards are
constantly changing.
